Missouri Land Survey Drafting

Land Survey Drafting in Missouri

Land survey drafting in Missouri for Professional Land Surveyors and their firms. We draft boundary, subdivision, condominium, and ALTA/NSPS plats from your field data and records. You give initial direction, supervise each step, review and correct the drawings, and sign and seal them.

Overview

What is Land Survey Drafting in Missouri?

We turn your Missouri field data, deeds, and record plats into CAD plats, topographic maps, and Surveyor's Real Property Reports. Your PLS specifies the deliverable, urban or rural property class, and local checklist.

The drawing retains your PLSS, private-claim, or subdivision references and ties. We add found/set monument notes, adjoiner records, scales, and the standards statement you provide, with lettering legible at recording size.

Our land survey drafting services, including ALTA/NSPS plats, are supplied only to PLSs and their firms. Under 20 CSR 2030-13.020, the PLS or firm deals directly with the surveying client. The PLS provides initial direction and input at each step, makes surveying decisions, and reviews and corrects the final sheets.

Topographic Map Drafting

Topographic maps from your points and breaklines, at your specified scale and contour interval. The PLS supplies any map-accuracy class and certification note.

Certified Land Corner Document Sketches

Certified Land Corner Document sketches from your corner and witness-tie data, with known State Plane coordinates for your check and filing.

Easement, Utility, As-Built & LiDAR

Easement and vacation exhibits, right-of-way, pipeline, utility, as-built, aerial, and LiDAR drawings to your CAD standard and supplied data.

Why it matters

How Missouri's board rules and recorders shape a plat

The Missouri professional licensing board sets the Missouri Standards for Property Boundary Surveys (20 CSR 2030-16). We draft the required content and your deviation notes. Your signed and sealed plat takes precedence over the CAD data file.

The supervision rule requires continuing PLS control and input during preparation, plus final review and corrections. The PLS or firm must deal directly with the client; the PLS cannot be hired solely to approve work completed by the client's unlicensed employee or contractor.

Specify SPCS 83 East, Central, or West and the units. Missouri's corner rules use the international foot where coordinates are in feet.

Supply the control stations, reference frame and epoch, method, and applicable grid factor for your State Plane note.

You determine the urban or rural class. Urban includes property wholly or partly within municipal limits and commercial, industrial, or multi-unit developments; rural is not simply any land outside a city.

Send your firm's title block, printed licensee details, seal space, and certificate-of-authority number where required.

You control signed releases. A signed native CAD file needs the required verifiable digital signature; a scanned signature is not a substitute in editable CAD.

Tell us which plat must be recorded and send the recorder's current sheet and media requirements. We prepare the drawing; you handle filing.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

No. Arcengine holds neither a Missouri PLS license nor a surveying certificate of authority and supplies CAD drafting only. The PLS or firm deals directly with the surveying client. The PLS gives initial direction, supervises each step, reviews and corrects the final sheets, and signs and seals the plat. This is not a completed-drawing approval service. Landowners should hire a Missouri PLS.
